Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer who was also one of the first Roberts to move to Atlanta. The Robertses' father was interested in theatre from an early age. When he was a college students studying at Emory University from 1952 to 1954, he was a part of numerous shows. When he was stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi, he received his induction into the air force in the year 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was in that production as well. The couple got married in 2005 and they had their first baby, Eric Anthony in 1956. Walter went to Tulane University at New Orleans in the year 1957, after the couple had left the US Air Force. Walter joined Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio after the family moved from Atlanta to Decatur, Georgia in the year 1960. Walter as well as Betty Lou financed their own production of a Sunday morning children's show, Bum Bum and His Buddies. The following year, they started the Actors and Writers Workshop which operated for six years. In 1965, they welcomed two new children: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
