Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is a talented American actress who has worked as a writer, singer, director and producer. Her most well-known work is her role on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Tara Maclay. She also produced, directed and appeared in her own film Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she was in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was born January 8 1977 in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Danielle Benson was her younger artist sister. Her father, Benson's was Jewish, and while her mother was a Southern Baptist raised by Southern Baptist parents. She grew up going to a Reform congregation in Alabama.
