Lisa Edelstein was an American actress who is best known as the actress who starred in Fox's House medical show. In a strict Jewish upbringing she relocated from Wayne to New York City when she aged 18 and began attending Tisch School of the Arts. The school soon became a fixture in the New York club scene and began getting headlines. Also, the press took notice of her. She utilised both her musical training and fame to write and perform in a brand new musical called Positive Me. Shortly thereafter she landed a job at MTV, hosting Awake to the Wild Side. Following the end of the series her appearances began in television and film productions, beginning with small parts, but gradually establishing her acting career.
